What are you involved in/plan to be involved in at HHS?

I choose to be involved in dance team because two of my cousins were on the dance team, and I wanted to try it out! It looked like so much fun and it’s a part of HHS, so I can meet new people! I have been dancing since I was two years old, so I have a lot of experience with dancing. Besides dance team, I dance at North Shore Dance Studio, where I do hip-hop year round. The football games so far have been my favorite experience with dance team. It has been a blast! It is really fun dancing at halftime for the football games. It has been great so far, and I can’t wait for more memories, including the games and competitions!

Do you have any special talents?

Well, dance, obviously. But other than that, I like to ski (both water and snow). I want to be on ski team this winter, but I don’t think I can because dance team is year-round.

What is the best thing about HHS?Processed with Moldiv

High school so far has been amazing. I love all of my classes, and everyone has been so nice. The teachers are so supportive and classes have been great. I don’t have any older siblings, so I didn’t really know what to expect with Homestead. But I have learned a lot since school started, and I have been loving Homestead. My favorite part of Homestead is seeing everyone from my old school and challenging myself with more tests and homework. I was ready to take a bigger step in my education.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I am looking forward to a great four years of high school and getting to know everyone on [the] dance team. I am excited to learn more about college, too.
