After a tiresome day at school, Dylan Bradley, freshman, goes to the Homestead High School pool and partakes in one of his three favorite sports. He swims not only because he loves the sport, but because of the camaraderie and the amazing amount of support his team gives him. He swims 100-yard breaststroke, 50-yard breastroke in the Medley Relay and swims in the 200-yard free relay.

Besides swimming, he was on the freshman volleyball team and is hoping to make it onto the track team where he will partake in hurdles and relays. When he isn’t playing a sport, he is playing the Tenor Sax for Jazz Band. He has been playing in band since middle school.

After school, Bradley enjoys participating in clubs such as Kids-for-Kids.

“I had a great learning experience when I was younger. I want to give back and give others that same experience,” Bradley said.

In his free time, he is either skiing, watching his favorite TV show “Top Gear,” or studying for AP Human Geography, which is his favorite subject at school.

“I really like Human Geography because it kind of deals with politics, which I really like, and it deals with the real world,” Bradley said. In the future, he would like to go into a profession that deals with politics or engineering.

Bradley is looking forward to his time at Homestead and hopes to make the best out of the next four years.

“For high school I am most excited about taking new classes that weren’t available in middle school, learning about new things, meeting new people and pushing myself athletically during school sports,” Bradley said.
