“I have a lot of embarrassing stories. You know how people have those ‘once this happened’ moments? Yeah, I have one of those every single week.

One time, I laughed so hard, I spilled milk all over my shirt. At first, it was funny, but then I cried the rest of the day.

This other time, I walked with my skirt being held up. I had to give a presentation that day too.

There were a lot of times during middle school when I really embarrassed myself. Once, I thought it was a good idea to dye all my hair blue. I looked like a blueberry.

In addition to that, I went to get my hair cut and wanted bangs. So, I asked my mom for permission. She told me I couldn’t, so in defiance, I cut my own hair. I looked like a monster. I had cut my bangs so they were only about a centimeter long.

Another time, in sixth grade, I decided to basically pluck my eyebrows off. Not basically, I did. In eighth grade, I grew my eyebrows out. I naturally have dark, thick eyebrows, but for some reason, I filled them in a bunch. They were squares. Actually, they were rectangles. My eyebrows were rectangles.

I like to pretend I’ve changed, but I still do things like that. So, yeah. I really haven’t changed much.” (Lisa Jambor, junior)
