Exploring Europe

In London, my favorite part was the London Eye, because you can see the entire city from right there. In it, there’s these screens, and you’re in this giant capsule, which spins you all around. So, you get to see all these different views and monuments.

Then, in Paris, we were supposed to be aware of pickpocketing. While in the Louvre, Mrs. Mckenna’s chapstick was pickpocketed. My favorite part was the Eiffel Tower, because the monument was really neat.

Next, we took the TGV, which is Europe’s fastest train. We took it from Paris to Zurich. In Zurich, we had a walking tour, because Mr. Engle knew someone from there. It was probably the prettiest space we went to. There was all this color, no clouds and clear skies, all these hills and a bunch of green.

Then, Mt. Pilatus, in Lucerne. We took a monorail to the top. As we were going to the top, we could see all these different views of Lucerne. On our way down, we took a cable car. We also rode on these awesome toboggan slides.

The next morning, we went to Munich, Germany. We saw BMW’s headquarters and the 1972 olympic stadium. We also went to the beer hall, but don’t worry, we didn’t drink any beer.

Lastly, we went to Austria. First, we saw the castle which inspired Disney’s logo. It’s called Neuschwanstein. There was also a famous amusement park in Vienna. It was really fun. We went to this cool restaurant underground too and saw a horseback riding school.” (Aaron Cohen, sophomore)
