Top Embarrassing Moments of My Life
“Well, it was a hot summer day at the Steffen/Wilson playground area. It was an intense day. I was running back for my flag football team, and I made a mistake of wearing pants that buttoned up the sides. So, I ran up the field, and instead of tearing off my flag like they were supposed to, they tore off my pants.
Also, in seventh grade, there was a bright and sunny day. Around fourth hour in Ms. Lipscomb’s class, it went down. I had brought my hedgehog to school and, out of nowhere, he bit me. So, out of shock, I threw him up in the air. I don’t remember who it fell on, but I remember it did.
The first time I was driving, it took me fifteen minutes to get out of the driveway. It was in winter. I was with my dad. And it was in a stick shift car, and I struggled getting it started. I hit my garage door. My dad just kept laughing at me.
It was my sixteenth birthday. And, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! This is going to be sick!
I’m going to get a car!’ My dad ordered a cake and he wanted it to be blue. It was a boy’s cake. So, I get home, and I was hanging with (my friend) Joe. My dad pulls out my cake and it says, ‘Happy Birthday, Blue Boy!’ And I figured it was okay because I thought I was going to get a cool gift. Instead, I got headphones. I already had three pairs of headphones.” (David Willman, junior)
