Every Friday, Highlander Publications chooses a freshman to be featured in “Freshman Friday,” giving the student population the opportunity to get to know its freshman class.
What is your dream job?
Anything that pertains to art, from creating it or just having it around.
What is your dream college?
The Milwaukee Arts Institute.
What would your ideal meal be?
Something healthy yet satisfying.
What is the funniest thing that happened this year?
Running into someone at a football game that eventually led us to date for a month. That was just crazy.
Any clubs you want to join next year?
LEAD, Champions, Art Club and maybe Chess Club?
Describe your ideal summer.
That would include many days of sitting out by the beach in the warm weather with friends and family nearby. It would also include partying until the sun comes up with my buds!
What’s your favorite word?
Syzygy: the alignment of three celestial bodies, the Earth, the Sun and the moon, in a straight line.
What’s your favorite class?
Biology and choir. There’s no top for this one, just a tie.
What’s your favorite quote?

Describe your life in 3-6 words.
Crazy, yet mellow. Simple, yet complex.
Is there anything you want to accomplish before you graduate Homestead?
Make a ton of new friends of all ages and keep in touch with them after high school. Friends play a major role in my life.
Do you have any advice for next year’s freshmen?
The subjects are tough. Don’t tick off the teachers or you’ll get in huge trouble. And yes, this is just another “bottom-of-the-food-chain” deals, but this time will be the last time. And the year flies by, trust me. Once third trimester exams come, you’ll be thinking, “Where did the year go?” I speak from experience.
