Freshman Friday: Emma Fox flips into ninth grade

Every Friday, Highlander Publications chooses a freshman to be featured in “Freshman Friday,” giving the student population the opportunity to get to know its freshman class. Read below to learn about this week’s freshman, Emma Fox.

Who is in your family?

My mom and dad and then one older sister.

 

What sports do you play?

I dive in the fall, I do gymnastics in the winter and track in the spring all for Homestead.

 

What events do you do for track and gymnastics?

I do all the events for gymnastics and the 100 or 400 for track.

 

If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?

I would like to be invisible so I can go to school but it would look like I’m absent then listen to everyone’s drama and gossip.

 

How much older is your sister?

She is a junior at Grafton. 

 

If you were a candy, what candy would you be and why?

I guess I would be a Sour Patch Kid because I can be sassy when I want to be but also sweet.

 

What are you looking forward to in your next years at Homestead?

Well, I’m looking forward to not being called the freshmen and actually knowing everyone in my grade.
