Every Friday, Highlander Publications chooses a freshman to be featured in “Freshman Friday,” giving the student population the opportunity to get to know its freshman class. Read below to learn about this week’s freshman, Samantha Crivello.

Do you have any siblings? 

I have one sister, Sydney, who is a junior.

What are you looking forward to most for high school?

I’m looking forward to making new friends throughout the year the most.

Who’s your role model?

My role model is my basketball coach, Chloe Black.

What was your favorite vacation and why?

My trip to Arizona was my favorite by far because I hiked up my first mountain. I absolutely loved it!

If you could be a sandwich what kind would you be?

If I could be a sandwich, I would be a club sandwich.

What is the best part of high school so far? 

The best part has been being able to participate in basketball and cross country.

What are you involved in at Homestead?

Besides sports, I am involved in Champions.
