A to Z Winter in Wisconsin
Winter in Wisconsin is so cold and dreary that it feels as though it may be endless. It may seem that there is nothing to do but here are 26 things that can get you out of the house and into enjoying winter, it doesn’t last forever.

Dress up and go out to dinner somewhere fancy. It’s not everyday that you can treat yourself like a #king or #queen.
Enjoy a hot drink: with Colectivo, Fiddleheads and Starbucks, there are plenty of options.
Find a new restaurant or cafe and have a lovely brunch with some friends. Combine breakfast and lunch and it’s sure to be a great time.

Gather some blankets and gorge on a new T.V series (Jane the Virgin will be your next obsession).
Have a snowball fight, and if you don’t want to go outside, try using socks.
Ice skate at Red Arrow Park or at the Ozaukee Ice Rink.
Relay for Life. It’s for an amazing cause and you’ll have a crazy amount of fun participating.
Kick your feet up and have a holiday movie marathon.
Layer up on sweaters, scarves, and hats: Homestead is so cold, it might as well be the outdoors.
Make a snowman with your siblings or friends. Maybe you can prove that Frosty the Snowman is real?
Nap. Enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation. Bears hibernate in the winter, so why shouldn’t you?
Open the cabinets and make some cookies #treatyourself.
Pajama party. Gather some pals and have a pillow fight in your pj’s.
Quickly catch a movie at North Shore Cinema. Tuesdays movies are only five dollars.
Rock out to the Frozen soundtrack- there is no shame in truly letting go.
Ski, snowboard, or sled. Sunburst is only 40 minutes away!
Take some pictures outdoors. Bundle up and take a walk through nature with your camera. Winter wonderland only lasts for so long.
Use your time to do good and volunteer at a soup kitchen such as the Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee.

Watch the Superbowl, or even skip the game and only watch the commercials.

Yoga. Sit by any window with a yoga mat and enjoy the calming serenity surrounding you.
Zip on over to a Homestead Hockey or a Lakeshore Lightning game.
