Freshman Friday: Lindsay kicks her way into high school
Every Friday, Highlander Publications chooses a freshman to be featured in “Freshman Friday,” giving the student population the opportunity to get to know its freshman class. Read below to learn about this week’s freshman, Cameron Lindsay.
Do you play any sports?
“Yes, I play soccer, tennis and I ski. Soccer is definitely my favorite.”
For how long have you played soccer?
“I’ve been playing since I was four years old, so that would be ten years.”
Do you have any siblings?
“I have two half siblings named Jack and Tory.”
Do you have any pets?
“I have two names named Nicky and Chrissy. They’re corgis.”
What are you most looking forward to in high school?
“I’m really excited to try out for the Homestead soccer team. I hope to make varsity.”
What has been your favorite class so far?
“I like English. My teacher is really nice and I like reading and writing.”
What do you hope to accomplish while in high school?
“I want to finish all the levels of Spanish. I also want to join AFS club and get to know the exchange students. I’m going to stick with playing tennis and soccer as well.”
What’s a fun fact about you?
“I went to nationals for soccer with my summer team, Super Y. It was really fun and we ranked top ten in the nation.”
