Varsity girls track and field team competes at Carthage College
The girls varsity track and field season commenced with a meet at Carthage College against over 40 teams in the Midwest region. The Highlanders scored a total of four points. Despite the small overall gain, most of the competitors met their goal of creating a new personal record for their event. The team spent eleven hours at the facility and thus made the most of their time by cheering on their teammates, stretching, warming-up and racing.
