Freshman Friday: Seth Amland plays his way through freshman year
Every Friday, Highlander Publications chooses a freshman to be featured in “Freshman Friday,” giving the student population the opportunity to get to know its freshman class. Read below to learn about this week’s freshman, Seth Amland.
Do you play any sports?
I play soccer during the boys season and outside of school.
Do you play any instruments?
I play the cello.
Do you have any siblings?
I have a younger brother, Shai, he’s in sixth grade.
Do you have any pets?
I have six pets, three dogs and three cats
What are some of your hobbies?
I like to take pictures, play cello and play soccer at my club, North Shore United.
What’s your typical Saturday like?
I have either cello lessons, a soccer game, or I like to go play basketball outside with my friends.
What are you looking forward to in high school?
I am excited for AP environmental science, chamber orchestra and maybe making it onto varsity for soccer.
What’s a fun/random fact about you?
I got second in state for robotics two years ago.
