I tried the internet fad ‘Baby Foot’ and was blown away

You know how you watch those pimple popping videos, and they disgust you but you want to keep watching them anyways? Well, that is how peeling my dead skin off my feet was for me. The peeling was by far my favorite part because of how exciting it was.

I have been a follower of YouTube and the fun fads and trends they cover for a very long time (too long honestly). So it was pure magic when I found a box advertising ‘Baby Foot’ in my bathroom. Being the blogger I am, I was very excited to have found this special item and pulled out my camera right away.

My biggest grievance with this product was that it smelled horrific. While it claimed to have a lavender scent, it was more of an overwhelming chemical that found it’s way into my nose and proceeded to burn off all my nose hairs. My other issue was that after I did the initial first peeling, it continued to peel in weird places for a few days and got all over my rugs and carpets (first world problems, I know).,

The first day of this experiment, I put the booties on and then washed off the chemical. I then waited. On the third day of prolonged waiting, my feet felt all funky, and I felt like I had an air pocket in my sock near the ball of my foot. As I took my socks off later, I discovered that it was actually my skin coming off! I immediately sat down and began to peel the skin off. It was unfortunately messy and I got skin absolutely everywhere.

My mother walked in on the peeling and was very concerned about my health. She was very worried that I would peel something I was not supposed too and that I would dig too deep into my skin. I find this funny because she originally bought this product for herself.

I can confirm that my feet were not harmed in any way and that as a result my feet were smooth and soft. While I think that was a fun product to try out, I don’t think it was worth the $25. I would recommend everyone try it once, but it is not necessary on a weekly basis like a face mask is (but that is a story for another time).

Lastly, I advise you to pay special attention to my facial expressions as they tell the story in a very special way.
