Coming soon: Mequon Public Market at Spur 16
Alongside the development of Spur 16 Townhomes, the Mequon Public Market will open in June of 2019 to bring a touch of Third Ward flair to Mequon Road. With community at its core, the market will offer specialty shopping, quality dining and farm fresh produce to celebrate local entrepreneurship.
For the carnivorous public market goer, the Milwaukee neighborhood butcher shop, Bavette, will provide Mequon with both a full-service restaurant, as well as a traditional butcher shop concept.
Local pescatarians will also have access to St. Paul Fish Market, including an oyster bar, fish market and restaurant alongside Screaming Tuna Asian Bistro for the sushi lover.
Beans and Barley and Cafe Corazon will provide various options for vegans/vegetarians and omnivores alike. Beans and Barley offers an all-homemade deli and a cafe that serves for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cafe Corazon takes a farm-to-table approach to locally sourced mexican dining.
For the on-the go Mequon mom, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company will provide locally owned, small batch roasted coffee for any caffeine need. Bowls will also offer quick meal options which are clean, delicious and globally inspired
Finally, for the sweetest of sweet tooths, Purple Door Ice Cream will make its way to Mequon from its hometown of Door County. Happy Dough Lucky will join in the sugar rush with fresh made mini doughnuts.
