Holocaust survivor gives talk to orchestra students
On Jan. 16, Holocaust survivor Lisa Weiner gave a talk to orchestra students about the atrocities she experienced and her life story. Weiner’s talk was the first in a series called Lunch & Learn, where orchestra students can learn about German history and culture. Over spring break, the orchestra will travel to Bavaria, Germany to perform music. Additionally, they will visit the Dachau concentration camp memorial.
