Relay for Life raises money at annual school event
At the annual Relay for Life event on Saturday, Feb. 29, students stayed up all night raising money and awareness for cancer research. By the end of the night over $13,500 was raised. Check out the photo gallery below to see pictures from the evening.
Renee Zaiss, freshman, gets her hair cut by older sister Ashley Zaiss, junior. Ashley and Renee were personally impacted by cancer when their mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and they wanted to give back. “It was a really fun experience and I am so excited for next year,” Renee said.
