Working Hard
“At my job at Mequon Pizza Company, the employees are required to wear a mask and gloves when interacting with customers. We are also taking extra measures to sanitize our workspace and limiting face-to-face interactions through curbside pickups. I enjoy working during this time because it gives me something to do. I really like the people I work with, so it’s fun. Normally I am a hostess; I would greet people and get them seated at a table. I would also clear plates and box food up. Now I am doing carry out orders which consist of ringing up customers, taking phone orders and bringing out orders to curbside spots. It is a lot different than what we normally do, but personally I find it much easier.” -Nora O’Brien, junior
