When the world went silent
“The world went silent, and for someone who had music filling their world 24 hours a day, those were the scariest 4 words imaginable. It is very difficult not to go to an orchestra rehearsal, or to have a private lesson, or to enjoy an outing with my friends to an orchestra concert. It’s different than what it was; however, I found alternatives to keep my life musical. Many musicians have been publishing their performances – which I’ve been listening to, I’ve found arrangements where I could perform chamber music with myself on “Acapella,” I’ve been composing, and of course, practicing.” – Isabelle Kramar, junior
