Records broken at 2022 indoor state track meet
Nerves were high as the Annual Indoor State Track Meet in Whitewater on April 9 with the Highlanders taking an overall team second place and breaking two records.
Peyton Berryman, senior, won first place for the pole vault while also setting a new indoor record as well as the girls 4×200 meter relay placing second and breaking the 1983 indoor school record. The relay consisted of Korynne Moga, junior, Eva Brandenburg, sophomore, Julia Gaskin, junior, and Morgan Valentino, senior.
Some other top individual achievements consisted of Moga, placing third overall in her 400-meter dash, as well as two seventh-place finishes by Anisa Barnett. freshman, in the triple jump, and Savannah Fraley, junior, in the 1600-meter dash.
