Humans of Homestead: Natalie Ham
Natalie Ham, a sophomore at Homestead, is just starting to adapt to life here in Wisconsin. She just moved here from Sydney, Australia and lived there for eight years. Ham said that living here compared to Australia that the, “Environment is pretty different. Also I think the weather is definitely different because where I am from it never snowed, so this is definitely a big change.” Regarding the environment here, Ham commented on the transportation and said, “There was a public train that was really popular [in Sydney, Australia] and everyone would take it to either work or school or literally anywhere because it was so easy but I’ve noticed that in Wisconsin people drive a lot more.” If you see Natalie around Homestead, be sure to welcome her to our school.
