Mariah Reynolds, a Senior at Homestead High School, has swam competitively for 13 years. That brought up a lot of questions, 13 years is a lot of swimming, when you have a race whattype of emotions do you feel? Do you still feel anxious or fearful before a race?
Reynolds said, “I get nervous all the time, I gotta think back to good races that I had and that helpscalm me. At Schroeder, we do throwbacks and think of a good time we had in the past and that
helps calm me down.”
