“This morning, I was walking into school late; I usually am, and there were four people behind me. I think I’d feel guilty if I didn’t hold the door open, honestly. I don’t necessarily believe that the kindness comes back; I don’t have expectations that the kindness will be reciprocated. Someone opened the door for me yesterday; most people hold the door open, some don’t. I feel thankful. It’s a nice feeling to experience and enjoy. I think we should all strive for a kind world to live in and no position puts you above.
