“I truly felt adversity from society when the October 7th attack happened and Hamas attacked Israel. I didn’t want to be stuck in that feeling however, so I decided to do something about it and try to help. I set up a fundraiser in support of all of the hostages in Israel. I wanted to help and doing so showed me how good it felt to be a change in my community. It felt like I was leading an effort to help people. I am proud of myself for stepping up and trying to make a difference to help people that are important to me. I don’t have any regrets about helping and I hope to do more.” Adin Gendelman, Senior.
