“I love working with my team and feeling accomplished when we win. Even though at times my team and I face defeat, we stick together,” Claire Heinrich, freshman, said. Ultimately Heinrich’s mom is her biggest supporter. Heinrich said, “My mom is always there for me, and I can always count on her showing up. Heinrich loves to dance and be with her friends, but dance comes with many challenges and defeats, which pushes the relationship between her and her family to grow into something bigger. With that her relationship with her family is so strong and Heinrich’s relationship with her sister, Elsa, junior, is something unmatched.
