“My mom was always pushing me to be a college baseball player. She knew it wasn’t the sport that I loved. That fascination for me came with football. When I was over all the stress of waiting on offers, I was brave enough to admit to her that football was where my love lies, and I will be attending St. Thomas in the following fall. She now stands with my decision after seeing the intensity and care I had for playing another year of football. I’m happy that I can be on those Friday night lights once again ” – Griffin Bowers, Seniors
