¨When I lived in China I regret not taking all the opportunities that were given to me. I had a lot of chances to meet and socialize with people of different ethnic backgrounds and learn more about their culture and Chinese culture in general. I feel like I did not take enough advantage of that and I did get to see as much as I should have and get to know as many people as I could have. I think I did not take the opportunity because I was there from fourth to sixth grade so I was too young to be aware that I am getting really cool opportunities and I should take them. So I try now to take all the opportunities that are handed to me and try to make my own opportunities.¨ -Morgan Bashaw, freshman
