“It was the final play of a long football practice during my senior season. Our offense was lined up in the formation we call ‘Trey’.” There were three receivers split out to the left and one receiver split out to the right. It being the last play of practice, we wanted to have some fun, so we went a little off script. Tommy got the snap and pitched the ball to Bentley in the backfield running left. I came running around on the reverse from the slot on the left side and Bentley pitched the ball to me. I then turned the corner and headed upfield, and right before the scout team DB tackled me I pitched one more time to Will, who ran it in for a touchdown.” Dominic Bruno, senior
