Jack Bell, senior, thinks back to last summer when he attended Stanford Summer School for two months; for this, he lived in California by himself. He believes this is a time in his life when he exhibited courage. He talked about how he had to adjust, as living alone has many responsibilities but also provides exciting freedom. He recalls riding his bike through campus and still thinks about his time there frequently. He took several classes, including physiology and biotechnology, as these are helpful to what he wants to pursue in the future. Next year, he hopes to attend Stanford for college.
