Every Friday at 6:30 a.m, students gather to read and discuss the bible together under the supervision of Bible Club adviser Michaela Fraley, English teacher.
Fraley stated, “we gather together to sing… a designated student then reads through a chapter of scripture, another student prays for discernment for the group and all students discuss the passage together collectively.”
Many students attend to be with friends and learn the Bible.
Megan Anderson, sophomore, said, “I really enjoy Bible Club because it is a great way to stay connected with God’s word. It is a great community of supportive classmates who are always there to answer questions. It is always so amazing to praise God and sing songs together.”
Being in each other’s presence is enjoyable enough to wake up extra early every Friday.
Grace Holz, sophomore, said, “I like hearing everyone’s different perspectives and just like using those perspectives to learn more about God.”
Georgia Sulsberger, junior, added, “I mainly just like getting to connect with people of the same faith.”
Bible Club lasts year round and is accepting new attendees every week to read the Bible with.
