This week I’m going to be discussing my dream sheet. Your dream sheet is a list compiled of the top 16 places you would like to be stationed. You get to make a top eight for stateside bases (located in United States) and then eight that are overseas including Hawaii and Alaska. It’s recommended that you think about this and start your list before basic since you only get a small amount of time given to you to fill it out. The base you get mainly depends on your job and the need for it at a certain base. With jobs in the medical field it’s a lot more flexible with what bases you can go to compared to a jobs like AMT (aircraft maintenance technician) since there’s not airplanes at every base. I’ve been thinking a lot about where I’d like to be stationed, a lot of factors come into place like; weather, if I know people near bases, the experiences I would get, the area in which they’re located (if there’s anything to do when I’m not working). So with all that taken into consideration here is a smaller list of the bases I’m thinking of at the moment.
Stateside:
– Davis-Monthan AFB Tucson, Arizona
– Joint Base Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina
– MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida
– Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, Tennessee
– Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, Colorado
– Grand Forks AFB Emerado, North Dakota
Overseas:
– Hickam AFB in Oahu, Hawaii
– AvianoAFB in Pordenone, Italy
– Moron AFB in Seville, Spain
– Anderson AFB in Guam
– Ramstein AFB in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany
