Claire Leatherbury, senior, has always had a passion for helping others. As a young child she moved around the country, living in California, Florida, and Wisconsin by age nine. Although she had to undergo many colossal changes in her childhood, there was one constant, her compassion for those around her. She often spent her days as a kid catching and caring for lizards and even wanted to be a veterinarian. Fittingly enough, she will be attending Milwaukee School of Engineering in the fall, with a major in nursing. Leatherbury shares,“What I am majoring in makes sense, I love helping people be the best that they can be and getting them through rough times.” If she had the ability to ask her future self one question, she would ask “how are doing and where are you now?”
