For as long as Kyla Imana, senior, has remembered, she has always had a keen interest in creating new stories and writing. When she was younger, and could not write yet, she still yearned to express her passion for literature through storytelling to her parents or friends. Now, she wishes to continue her passions through attending Ithaca in the fall and pursue a major in screenwriting. She explains, “I’ve always loved creating stories so going into a field where I have the ability to create my own world not only excites me but just makes perfect sense.” So, if Imana could ask her future self something, she would would say, “Have you written your script for, ‘Mile High Club’? and, “Are you rich and famous yet?”
