Brennan Joynt, junior, plays lacrosse. Joynt currently works at Elite Sports Club while his mom is a manager there. Joynt’s dad, superintendent of Homestead High School, plays a huge role in Joynt’s life as he looks up to him greatly and enjoys being around him every day. As Joynt looks up to his dad, he has two younger brothers who admire him, always playing sports together. Joynt is a sports fanatic when it comes to lacrosse, football and basketball. Joynt used to play basketball only a couple of years ago and deeply regrets quitting. Part of that decision to quit, Joynt found out he had scoliosis. His main sports has always been lacrosse, so he wanted to give his body a rest for the lacrosse season, instead of putting his back through so much work playing basketball every day.
