Sarah Zehms, sophomore, thinks back to the times she has traveled to Jamaica for volunteer work. As she was there, she learned many things. She gained a new perspective on life, grateful for the little things like the privilege of accessible food, water and education. This furthered her desire to help others, by donating money monthly to help kids in Jamaica. Sarah also found her peace in the girls basketball team, where she is able to express herself in other ways while team bonding.
