Oliver Carrell, senior, suffered a major fracture in his right arm when he was in 2nd grade. He was run over by a lawn mower, and due to his injury, he was not able to participate in the Little League REC Basketball tournament final. Since the injury took several months to fully recover from, it caused him to have a lot more free time. When he was fully recovered, he had the choice to go back to playing basketball and he chose not to. This event caused Oliver to appreciate having free time in his life. He said he would much rather hang out with friends instead of play sports.
