Link Crew leaders welcome class of 2018
The members of Homestead’s Link Crew, a group of upperclassman mentors, spent their day with the incoming freshman, working on team-building exercises, getting to know each other and preparing for the upcoming school year.
Homestead’s class of 2018 is ready to take on the halls of Homestead. Cianna Engroff, freshman, expressed, “I’m excited to be with everyone from all of the different middle schools but nervous about finding my classes. The school is really big!”
Filled with school spirit, the Link Crew leaders helped these incoming Highlanders increase their eagerness about high school. “I’m excited for the football games! Go Homestead!” Bailey Kramer, freshman, said.
