Emma Straszewski, Intro to Publications Staffer
Emma Straszewski, a freshman here at Homestead High School, has lived in Mequon since she was born. Her love of books and writing inspired her to dedicate her time to intro to publications. Other than reading, Emma enjoys spending time with her family, watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, and playing volleyball. Zack Straszewski, Emma’s brother, is her biggest role model. Zack has Cerebral Palsy and has lived his entire life in a wheelchair. Despite the challenges of his disability, he always has a smile on his face which causes everyone else to smile around him, especially Emma. Emma loves writing down inspirational quotes as she reads, and capturing memories with photography. Her favorite Quote is: “When writing the story of your life never let someone else hold the pen.” ~anonymous. Everyday, Emma lives by that quote, she continues to write her own story, and she never lets go of the pen.
