The annual Homestead blood drive took place on Feb. 17. Over 190 students participated, either by giving blood or volunteering through Student Council. Every person that gives blood had the ability to help three people.  “It was my first time donating blood and I was nervous, but it was really fun and I plan to do it again next year,” Jack Barron, junior said.
