Carrying Japanese culture all the way back to Mequon, Wisc., Ms. Anna Mae Grimm, social studies teacher, brings a whole new meaning to running an interactive classroom. Her mother, Mrs. Susan Grimm, born in Okinawa, Japan, came with kimonos in hand to teach the class about the traditional dress styles from her home country.

Ms. Grimm brought AP Human Geography to Homestead’s curriculum in 2013 with the hopes of expanding the global awareness among students at Homestead.
