Humans of Homestead: Lucas Corrie

Humans of Homestead: Lucas Corrie
Adin Gendelman

Lucas Corrie, senior, dreams of traveling to Tokyo, a city filled with culture and innovation. For Lucas, Tokyo represents a new journey, a new part of life for the man who has never been outside the U.S. Dreaming about the busy streets and neon-lit skyline, he’s drawn to Tokyo’s blend of tradition and modern technology.

Intrigued by Tokyo’s respectful society, food landscape and options, Corrie anticipates immersing himself in local food tours trying new and diverse local delicacies and exploring historic shrines and temples. His itinerary includes a visit to the iconic Tokyo Sky train and experiencing Tokyo’s sports firsthand.

For Corrie, this voyage signifies more than just sightseeing and a trip to get away from all the noise back in the U.S. It’s an opportunity for personal growth—gaining wisdom, knowledge and adding more culture to Corries persona. He envisions sharing this adventure with his brother, Brent, who shares his same enthusiasm for Tokyo.
