Will Kons, senior, is a part of the baseball team. He mentioned a few things about his high school career and last season. “We didn’t live up to our expectations, and our record should have been better.” He also pointed out that, “we lost earlier in playoffs, which was disappointing for the whole team.”
As for his upcoming season, he has high expectations for the team. “I think we have the talent and potential to win the North Shore conference and to win our sectional and go to the state tournament.”
The bar is set high for this Highlander team, and they believe they can make this year something special.

Grant Poindexter is a senior at Homestead High School. He is apart of the baseball team at Homestead, and he will continue playing baseball in college at Cedarville University. He also plans on majoring in marketing at Cedarville. When he is not playing baseball he enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing different types of sports.
