The boys varsity basketball team played and lost against Wisconsin Lutheran on Tuesday, Jan. 24. The game ended with a score of 64-50.

“We came out flat against an experienced team who came ready to play. Our primary player was sick and wasn’t ready to play. We need to start paying attention to detail,” Coach Sean Crider said.

Although the team lost, they are looking to rebound in the upcoming games.

“We felt confident going into the game. After the tough loss at Cedarburg, we were looking to bounce back and get a win. We came out slow and got down early. After the game, we were pretty frustrated because we haven’t won in a while and we all want is to win,” Michael Kennedy, sophomore said.

Overall, they boys are aiming to adjust their playing style and continue to have high hopes for the rest of the season.

“The goal is to win conference and win state. We haven’t played to the best of our abilities and we know that we can turn it around,” Connor Duggan, junior said.
