Sofia Mendoza, Staffer
Sofia Mendoza is a sophomore at Homestead High School and moved here to the United States when she was going into 7th grade. She was nervous to make new friends and start speaking a language she had never spoken in her life before. Now she can speak it very well and has made a bunch of new friends by joining clubs and sports such as Cross Country. She also has a family of four who has helped her to keep trying new things such as joining the publications class and she likes it so far.
