“There is no better feeling than knowing you helped someone, especially when they work exceptionally hard at it. It’s all about helping the kids,” Coach Adrienne Kanitz, the new girls varsity volleyball coach said.

Coach Kanitz is one of the new members of Homestead this year. She recently moved to the Milwaukee area from Michigan and has been coaching for five years. “She is a good coach. She really pushes us to be our best,” Sam Schindler, junior, said.

“Coach Kanitz is a new face and a fresh change to an already great program,” Elizabeth Leibau, junior, said. “From day one, she came in and filled the varsity position with great ease and poise. She teaches us everyday to be smart on the court, be amazing teammates and above all have fun.”
