Sasha Dubrovsky, junior, hopes to attend UW-Madison and later pursue a career as a doctor. Dubrovsky shares that her favorite memory was during her freshman year when her sister left for college and she got to visit her for the first time. Sasha’s desire to go to UW-Madison sparked from her sister attending the university. Sasha describes feeling both sad and happy during the experience: she was sad because her sister was leaving, but happy because she knew she was growing and beginning a new chapter of her life. Sasha was excited to watch her sister’s journey begin in Madison. “No matter how sad change is, it is a positive thing,” Dubrosky said.
